Plant Finance Manager

Eaton’s Electrical Sector - ARS division is seeking a Plant Finance Manager based onsite at our Cleveland, TN Commercial Products & Assemblies (CPA) manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates currently residing in the US.

About the role

This position provides financial leadership to the CPA manufacturing facility, serving as a business partner and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. This role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions will lead to the expected results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Drive accountability for results and define key performance metrics together with business leaders.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
• Drive initiatives (including CAPEX and INVENTORY) and influence changes to ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, and supply chain management.
• Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans.
• Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
• Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
• Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality.
• Implement inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash.
• Build organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business.
• Lead the main financial processes for the site, such as forecasts and profit plan.
• Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations to provide valuable insights to management, enabling informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.
• Lead and support the finance and plant leadership teams through finance transformation.
• Champion the finance culture change at the plant level, aiding the finance team to operate as business partners.
• Support all CoE and Transformation initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or other related areas from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting/finance working in or supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment/organization.

Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
• Eight years of progressive experience in accounting/finance.
• Two (2) years of experience in data analytics supporting a manufacturing facility.

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
