PLANT EQUIPMENT SUPERVISOR

Duties and/or Responsibilities

• Perform activities of maintaining, repairing or installing electrical needs at Ready mix plants.
• Maintain equipment and assist with repairs.
• Aid with electrical problems.
• Aid with set up and calibration, fill in plant operation.
• Cooking winter wiring at plants.
• Assisting new employees.
• Providing electrical training for employees per government guidelines.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Monitoring and discussing production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
• Ensuring MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance, Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations.
• Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.

Minimum Requirements

• High School or GED plus higher trade or technical school or equivalent in related field.
• Mechanical & electrical experience.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
