Plant Engineering and Automation Manager

Position Overview

The Plant Engineering and Automation Manager is responsible for leading the team in fostering the desired culture and environment, along with responsibility in all aspects of Plant Engineering, Drafting, Automation, Electronics, Construction Services, General Maintenance, facilities and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the provision of engineering and capital projects for our production units.
• Supporting site planning and development.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and PSM programs.
• Coordinating with various functions including GTP’s Environmental and Safety Department to ensure installations comply with public authorities, government agencies, and local residents.
• Managing the Engineering, Drafting, Automation, Electronics, Construction Services, General Maintenance, facilities and HVAC departments for technical and equipment support to the plant.

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred) and/or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience in a technology-driven, heterogeneous industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a role such as that described above.
• Strong social skills with an assertive personality and considerable experience in managing highly qualified engineers and experts from different disciplines.
• Experience in planning and implementing large-scale investment projects and coordinating complex, enterprise-wide processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DEP, and PSM regulations.
