Plant Engineer/Maintenance Mechanic III -

Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
- Maintains and repairs equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
- Maintains the building and its related systems.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specific trade directly related to healthcare engineering.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade relative to healthcare engineering (e.g., steam boiler, HVAC).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $30.62/Hr. to $41.34/Hr. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
