Plant Engineer

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Serve as a process expert in air separation, trace gas measurement equipment, and gas distribution systems; troubleshooting issues using formal root cause analysis and reporting methods
• Train junior employees and guide plant technicians during complex operations while serving as a technical resource and staying current on emerging technologies
• Define project and maintenance objectives, develop comprehensive plans, and manage cost and schedule across all project phases, including total cost of ownership for new systems
• Act as the primary leadership interface with customers and deliver effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Apply PMI principles to execute work and drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and methodologies
• Champion new ideas, cost-saving initiatives, and innovative approaches to improve performance
• Be available for domestic travel and participate in an on-call rotation

What Makes You Great

• Have a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering with a minimum of four (4) years of process engineering and project management experience
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Have experience with JD Edwards (preferred)
• Be familiar with PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems
• Able to travel up to 5% of the time to support project tasks and construction
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights
