Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
• Perform general electrical maintenance on forklifts and other machinery
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance
• Work within the SAP system for work order management, time entry, and material requisition
• Collaborate with the team to identify machinery problems and come up with efficient solutions
• Train and mentor apprentices to foster the next generation of electricians
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the field
• Demonstrated experience in the Tech Services industry
• Experience with forklift operations and maintenance
• Proficient in using electrical and manual tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.)
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
• Valid license to practice the profession
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and handling of electrical controls
• Journeyman certification is a must

Pay

$36 - $42 per hour
