About the role

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Plant Driver to operate trucks for transporting and delivering materials or equipment between operations and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, routine greasing, oiling, and fueling
• Loads, unloads, and transports materials
• Ensures proper truck loading
• Proceeds to scales for weighing and receives necessary paperwork
• Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle
• Monitors truck performance and reports potential malfunctions to maintenance personnel
• Complies with all safety regulations and policies
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Knowledge of equipment (e.g., engine, hydraulic components, tires, etc.)
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic communication skills

Pay

$22.00+ per hour (based on experience); $2.00 per hour shift differential on nights

Schedule

4 on / 4 off schedule
Days: 5:45am-6:00pm
Nights: 5:45pm-6:00am
