Plant Controller - EZ Form, An Amphenol Company

Location: Hamden, Connecticut • Full-time, salaried exempt • Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

About the role

Oversee the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Ensure the accuracy of financial records, support strategic decision-making, and manage day-to-day accounting functions at EZ Form, an Amphenol Company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to audit findings.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Experience leading cross-functional financial initiatives.
