Plant Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and conduct monthly financial analyses for the plant
• Oversee the month-end closing activities for the plant, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and the compilation and review of plant financial statements
• Deliver analytical reports and schedules to plant management and other relevant functional departments as required
• Collaborate with the business unit and corporate departments (accounting, tax, shared services) on necessary reporting and various projects, as requested
• Perform physical inventories of equipment, real property, and stock, documenting details such as description, value, and location of assets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated attention to detail with expertise in budget preparation and variance analysis
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations clearly and succinctly
• Experience in account analysis as well as preparation and review of reconciliations
• Possession of a CPA or CMA certification is considered an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems, with Costpoint experience being an asset

Pay

Base pay range: $125,000 - $135,000 annually, DOE & Location
