Plant Controller
Summary Of Responsibility
Lead the development and continuous improvement of a daily management system to proactively ensure forecasted profitability targets are achieved.
Own and maintain accurate profitability forecasts for the site, including product lines and value streams.
Monitor plant performance against operating plans, including financial results, production output, and key cost drivers; lead the development of the plant’s annual business plan.
Strengthen the cycle count process for both the plant and distribution center in partnership with the materials team, improving accuracy and accountability.
Drive initiatives to improve productivity, increase efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining oversight of all fixed asset accounting.
Support the tracking and reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, ensuring accountability and driving corrective actions when performance targets are not met.
Ensure ongoing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and company policies, including readiness for internal and external (3rd party) audits.
Cook up and coordinate all internal and external audit activities.
Qualifications
- Education, Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required Minimum of 5 years of finance experience in a lean manufacturing environment CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
