About the role
NABRICO Marine Products, Inc. is searching for a dynamic Plant Controller for our plant operations in Ashland City, TN.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all costs are properly reported including all production-related costs, cost of sales and operating/overhead expenses
- Periodically report operational metrics to plant and business management
- Serve as the business partner for the plant manager and their leadership team
- Financial projections, data analysis as requested, identify areas for process and/or cost improvement, extract data and create reports, month end closing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
Requirements
- Financial accounting and cost accounting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, required
- 5+ years of Experience in the Manufacturing setting preferred
