Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or CMA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficient in financial forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial planning software.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the company's policies on finance, accounting, budgeting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and auditing.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.
- Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.
- Oversee the production of weekly and monthly reports, year-to-year financial comparisons, and detailed revenue forecasting.
- Work closely with operational teams to identify business and process improvement opportunities.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
