What you'll do
- Own the full month-end close, general ledger, and site financial statements
- Lead the integration of financial systems and processes following our recent acquisition — ERP, reporting, and close cadence
- Drive standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for the plant
- Build, develop, and lead the site accounting team, with additional headcount planned under this role
- Prepare budgets and forecasts; partner with plant leadership on spend, capex, and margin improvement
- Establish and enforce internal controls; support external audits and corporate reporting requirements
- Translate financial data into action for operations — scrap, labor, overhead absorption, and cost-reduction initiatives
What you'll need
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Master's, CPA, or CMA a plus)
- 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience, including standard cost environments
- Hands-on ERP experience; implementation or systems-conversion exposure strongly preferred
- Prior supervisory experience over accounting staff
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, roll-up-your-sleeves plant environment
