Key Responsibilities
- Lead all plant accounting and month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and project accounting.
- Manage annual budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Identify process improvements that enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop plant accounting staff while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within manufacturing.
- Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and manufacturing accounting practices.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
Up to $140k + bonus + benefits.
