Plant Controller (1137472)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the plant.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and explain variances against budget and forecasts.
• Provide financial guidance and decision support to operations and leadership teams.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting processes, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to profitability, productivity, and cost control.
• Support cross-functional initiatives to achieve business objectives and resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable financial reporting requirements.
• Identify financial risks and communicate recommendations to management.
• Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and performance metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial modeling and performance analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, procurement, and supply chain concepts.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, advanced Excel, and business intelligence/reporting tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
