Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Product and Process Costing (2 sites)
- Perform all plant costing functions, including but not limited to new product costing, current cost analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain a cost analysis system using standard costing, reporting variances on a monthly basis.
- Calculate overhead rates, labor rates and machine rates to cost at a product level.
- Support Product profitability reporting with plant costing information and advisement.
- Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis (small, light assembly site)
- Lead monthly close accounting (SAP) and reporting (HFM) processes - WD1 – WD3.
- Lead monthly forecast process (HFM).
- Leads preparation of annual budgets (HFM) by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
- Monitor and report selected variance accounts, determine root cause and collaborate with Plant Management to take actions to correct.
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data.
- Manage cost center changes in SAP in accordance with agreed plant structure.
- Provide support to ensure the accuracy of cost center allocations.
- Inventory & Materials Analysis (2 sites)
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends as needed.
- Performs BOM audits, ensuring the integrity of all products costing.
- Prepare reports for material usage.
- Report and monitor inventory monthly.
- Prepare Inventory reserve analysis and book adjusting entries
- Produce stock reports by site on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile intercompany material purchase accounts.
- Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience.
- Financial Planning (Budgets, Forecasts), Reporting (Financial Statements) and analysis (variances) experience.
- Demonstrable Project Management experience.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office applications with demonstrable experience in excel of model development for financial planning.
- SAP and/or similar systems experience.
- Ability to understand and work with FX conversions.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both with financial and non-financial stakeholders.

- Minimum of 3+ years financial planning experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years with standard cost accounting experience
- Minimum of 3+ years with Management Reporting (customized.)
- Preferred - experience in manufacturing environments.
- Preferred - experience with enterprise financial reporting systems (HFM, etc.)
- Preferred – experience with enterprise General Ledger and ERP systems (SAP, etc)
- Preferred – experience with SAP implementation of CO module.

- Authorization to work and reside in the United States.
- Possess already or have the ability to obtain a passport as this position requires limited, infrequent travel within the United States and abroad.
- 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses).
- Normal hearing ability (with or without corrective device).
- Ability to lift and carry items for short distances: less than 5 pounds – frequently, less than 20 pounds – occasionally, greater than 20 pounds – infrequently.
