Plans & Policy Officer (PPO)/Executive Officer (EXO)

Location: McLean/Dulles (fully on‑site, no remote options). Active Polygraph clearance is required; candidates without a current Poly will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex issues and actions across the customer organization and the broader Intelligence Community.
• Review, vet, prioritize, assign, track, and submit completed taskings in response to internal and external information requests.
• Prepare talking points, read‑ahead books, and background papers to support policy meetings and liaison visits.
• Support office leadership in developing policies, strategies, and plans to advance the customer’s mission.
• Assist with congressional information requests, briefings, and budgetary issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 + years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools.
• Strong briefing and writing skills.
• Ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Intelligence Operations, Analysis, or Support to Field Operations.
• Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.

Level Requirements

• Level 3: 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Level 4: 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Level 5: 20 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a college degree.
