Job Details

The City of Plano is seeking a dependable, energetic, and hands‑on Plano Event Center Crew Leader to help create exceptional experiences for guests and event organizers. In this dynamic leadership role you will supervise and work alongside the operations team to transform event spaces, coordinate furniture and equipment setups, oversee housekeeping activities, monitor facility operations, train and support staff, and ensure everything is ready for each event. You will also serve as a visible and responsive resource for customers throughout their events, helping ensure every detail runs smoothly from setup to completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and collaborate with the operations team to transform event spaces.
• Coordinate furniture and equipment setups for each event.
• Oversee housekeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and order.
• Monitor facility operations to ensure safety and functionality.
• Train, mentor, and support staff members.
• Ensure all preparations are completed and the venue is ready for each event.
• Act as a visible, responsive resource for customers throughout their events, addressing issues and ensuring smooth execution from setup to completion.

Pay

Hourly salary range: $24.01 – $33.62
