About the role
As a Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring an integrated, efficient, and resilient supply chain across our Paints & Coatings business. You will lead the global master production planning process, driving alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and capacity to deliver outstanding customer service and business performance. Working at the heart of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve complex supply chain challenges, and support sustainable growth. Responsibilities
- Lead the global master production planning process across short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons
- Drive the Supply Review process within the SIOP cycle, identifying risks, constraints, trade-offs, and mitigation plans
- Develop constrained and unconstrained supply plans that balance customer demand, production capacity, and inventory objectives
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure material availability and operational alignment
- Use scenario modeling and analytics to evaluate options, support decision-making, and optimize service, cost, and working capital performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardize planning processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and business outcomes
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Chain Planning professionals while fostering collaboration and accountability
- Support new product introductions and product lifecycle transitions, ensuring supply chain readiness and successful execution
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment, including supply planning, capacity management, and S&OP/SIOP processes
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred, and advanced proficiency in Excel and planning analytics tools
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working in global, cross-functional environments
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence
Pay
The expected salary range for this role is USD 131,400 to 150,600. Specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
