Planning Manager

About the role

As a Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring an integrated, efficient, and resilient supply chain across our Paints & Coatings business. You will lead the global master production planning process for your area of responsibility, driving alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and capacity to deliver outstanding customer service and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global master production planning process across short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons
• Drive the Supply Review process within the SIOP cycle, identifying risks, constraints, trade-offs, and mitigation plans
• Develop constrained and unconstrained supply plans that balance customer demand, production capacity, and inventory objectives
• Possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working in global, cross-functional environments
• Support new product introductions and product lifecycle transitions, ensuring supply chain readiness and successful execution

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Strong experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment, including supply planning, capacity management, and S&OP/SIOP processes
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred, and advanced proficiency in Excel and planning analytics tools
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions
• Results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence
