About the role
In this role, you will lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time, and ensure adherence to inventory and supply plans. The work model for the role is onsite in Selmer, TN.
Responsibilities
- Own the site supply planning process.
- Provide visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process.
- Run a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.
- Support the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply units (feeder factories).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations
- OR Associate’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations
- OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience and 9+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of demand planning, production planning, inventory control, and customer fulfillment processes.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and planning tools.
- Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading planning and fulfillment transformations.
- Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and supply chain analytics.
- Experience with KPI development and performance management.
Pay
This position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $190,400 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
