Responsibilities
- Manages assigned construction and renovation projects from initiation through project closeout.
- Captures project activities including planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction oversight and project turnover.
- Works with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed.
- Maintains project documentation in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinates project closeout activities including punch list completion, documentation, turnover to facilities and financial closeout.
- Supports compliance with applicable healthcare regulatory requirements, building codes and safety standards.
- Ensures construction activity follows hospital safety requirements and infection control protocols including PRA/ICRA procedures.
- Participates in departmental and other meetings and project review sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in architecture/engineering/construction management or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in healthcare construction project management.
- Experience in coordinating owner and consultant activities.
- Understanding of construction budgeting, scheduling and contract administration.
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management tools.
Pay
Rush offers a pay range of $50.15 - $72.78 per hour, determined by various factors including education, job-related experience, and internal equity. Rush also offers an incentive plan based on multiple factors, which includes additional benefits available on their benefits page.
Schedule
The work schedule is 8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
