Planning and SIOP Manager

About the role

The Planning & SIOP Manager oversees the integrated planning functions within the supply chain, including Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), and capacity planning. They translate business demand into actionable production and supply plans, balancing customer needs, manufacturing capacity, supplier capabilities, inventory, and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise SIOP process and facilitate executive reviews.
• Develop scenarios for growth and market changes, ensuring plans are executable across production, procurement, and inventory functions.
• Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS), align schedules with capacity, and manage supply disruptions.
• Develop inventory strategies to optimize service levels and working capital.
• Govern planning systems, establish metrics and dashboards, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Develop the planning team’s capabilities and support new product launches and operational excellence.
• Promote safety, environmental, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or regulated industries.

Skills

• Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP and planning tools.
