Planning and Performance Analyst

About the role

The Intelligence function of the Strategy & Transformation Department is seeking an Analyst to join their small team and contribute to the development and support of Mental Health Services. The role offers an enthusiastic team member a specific portfolio focused on the design and development of datasets and information requirements, together with complex analysis, interpretation, presentation and reporting of the resulting information, providing advice to senior managers and clinicians locally, regionally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of datasets and information requirements
• Perform complex analysis, interpretation, and presentation/reporting of information
• Provide advice to senior managers and clinicians locally, regionally, and nationally

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a similar role within the NHS or a large complex organisation

Qualifications

• Numerate graduate
• OR a graduate with a relevant postgraduate qualification, preferably in medical/health statistics

• Numeracy and analytical ability
• Dataset design and development
• Complex data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
• Effective communication and advice-giving to senior managers and clinicians
