Planning & Design Manager

Responsibilities

Candidate will provide Planning and Design Management support for minor projects (<$250,000).

• Develop planning documents, including statements of work, work scopes, project plans, phasing plans, relocation plans, design specifications, Requests for Proposal, and cost estimates for a variety of projects.
• Consult with Facilities Maintenance Department and facility staff to develop the planning documents.
• Planning documents will be submitted to the client for review and approval and should require minimal rework.
• Consult with Facilities Maintenance Department and facility staff to identify the need for new projects and to prioritize the severity of new projects.
• Provide weekly reports of new projects that have been identified and attend meetings at the client’s request.
• Site visits will be required.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction or engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of construction or engineering field
• Minimum of 8 years supporting Navy facilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 security investigation
• Demonstrated knowledge of facility construction, maintenance, engineering and project management
