Planner/Scheduler (Must Have SAP, MFGPro &ERP)

Job Description

Perform tasks in MFGPro (ERP system) that support the receiving processes at our central distribution center and provide visibility to inventory in the network.

Manage the master data in ERP system and provide support for the integration activities for SAP implementation.

Maintain supplier relationships concerning order management, and raw material inventory health with supplier.

Ensure suppliers are producing against correct specifications. Work with category management team on long term outlook for supplier initiatives such as contract implementation and supplier relationship changes.

Support new product launches from a sourcing perspective.

Work closely and with personnel to identify and flag problem areas affecting customer service and other areas such as capacity, forecast, inventory levels, etc., and take direct and indirect action as appropriate.

Ensures all computer systems and processes are in place for a smooth order placement and shipment to the customer in a timely manner.

Works closely with Supply Network Planners to avoid backorders and high levels of inventory.

Qualifications

AS Degree or sufficient on-the-job experience.

BS degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or sufficient on-the-job experience is preferred.

Two to six years in a manufacturing, production planning, inventory control, procurement, or materials management business.

Experience with utilizing SAP and/or MFGPro is preferred.
