Your Key Responsibilities
- Control the ordering processes and bookings, ensuring manufacturing of products as agreed upon in the order freeze.
- Check production orders for correctness and alignment with current delivery requirements.
- Oversee the cost analysis of an order, focusing on quality.
- Maintain oversight of inventory levels and collaborate with the supply chain to ensure material availability.
- Generate and analyze production performance reports to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Optimize machine sequencing on a shift-by-shift basis.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum: Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience: Production scheduling within a manufacturing environment, using scheduling reports for on-time shipments.
- Skills: Solid understanding of manufacturing routings, bills of materials (BOM), and QS/TS 9000 requirements; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in computer applications, including mainframe systems, PC-based software, and Microsoft Office; excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities; basic knowledge of plant operations; ability to adapt to and understand manufacturing procedures and timelines.
- Authorization: External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
- Export Compliance: Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, requiring a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.15.
- Prior Experience: Multiple years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role; preferred: Bachelors degree in business or similar.
- Technical Skills: SAP knowledge.
