About the role
Berkley Group is seeking detail-oriented and motivated planners at different experience levels (Planner I or Planner II) to support local governments in creating and implementing land use policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing development proposals and various land use applications
- Working with local government officials and community members to shape policies and regulations
- Assisting in the implementation of land use plans and policies
- Conducting research and analysis related to land use and planning issues
- Preparing reports and presentations for internal and external audiences
Requirements
- Entry-level (1+ years of planning experience or internship)
- Mid-level (3+ years of experience)
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with GIS software is a plus

Benefits
Competitive salary range: $50,000 – $65,000 DOQ
