Planner I/Planner II

About the role

Berkley Group is seeking detail-oriented and motivated planners at different experience levels (Planner I or Planner II) to support local governments in creating and implementing land use policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing development proposals and various land use applications
• Working with local government officials and community members to shape policies and regulations
• Assisting in the implementation of land use plans and policies
• Conducting research and analysis related to land use and planning issues
• Preparing reports and presentations for internal and external audiences

Requirements

• Entry-level (1+ years of planning experience or internship)
• Mid-level (3+ years of experience)

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with GIS software is a plus

Benefits

Competitive salary range: $50,000 – $65,000 DOQ
