We are looking for a Planner 2 interested in a career with a top ranked and growing snack company, to join our Production/Packaging department at PIM’s Somerset New Jersey location. This position will report to our Production Planner Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
- Helps to analyze production specifications to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and personnel requirements.
- Maintain the sense of urgency required to support a 24/7 plant.
- Estimate and coordinate the raw materials, equipment, and labor shifts needed for continuous workflow.
- Recommend schedule changes resulting from material or labor shortages, design changes, or backlogs when necessary.
- Collaborate with Operations in analyzing, validating, and auditing material movements.
- Monitor all aspects of material movement and consumption in PIM Brands Systems.
- Maintain inventory levels of materials, necessary to meet daily production demands.
- Track stock levels, prevent shortages, and manage work-in-progress (WIP) to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Assure the highest level of accuracy for material handling within the plant.
- Follow and help enforce PIM Brands GMP, food safety, personal and general safety rules.
