About the role
The SPLC is seeking a Planned Giving Engagement Officer who is passionate about social justice. The PGEO is a frontline fundraiser who builds and strengthens relationships with donors considering future estate gifts to SPLC.
Responsibilities
- Cultivates and stewards "Partners for the Future," guiding donors through planned giving options, supporting annual and estate IRA gifts and gifts of securities, coordinating with Development Operations and brokerage partners, and managing reporting and analysis to enhance donor engagement and planned giving outcomes.
- Make 4 or more trips annually for donor meetings and participation in cultivation and stewardship events (up to 25% travel).
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years frontline fundraising experience, to include planned giving;
- High School Diploma or GED.

Pay
This is an exempt role and the minimum starting salary is $69,702 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position will report to the Senior Manager, Planned Giving.
