About the Role
This position provides the necessary leadership, direction, and management control for planning, design, and construction projects at assigned singular hospital campus or clinic locations. The project manager is responsible for the successful completion of all assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects in commercial, education, or healthcare industries.
- Provide direction and oversight for planning, design, and construction phases.
- Resolve simple and complex project problems using analytical skills.
- Present project details to medium-sized groups and non-subject matter experts.
- Make decisions in the best interest of projects.
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively while adapting to changing work requirements.
- Demonstrate knowledge of owner MTS and FFE scopes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Five years of progressive experience managing construction projects in the commercial, education, or healthcare industries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Certification in one of the following: Certified Healthcare Facility Management (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), American Society of Healthcare Engineers (AHSE), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), American Institute of Architects (AIA), or Professional Project Manager (PMP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
