About the role
This role supports attorneys who represent plaintiffs in cases involving long-term care neglect and abuse, medical malpractice, and car crash injuries. Key responsibilities include handling records requests, managing discovery, gathering and updating medical billing, lien, and insurance information, drafting and e-filing pleadings, preparing for mediations and trials, facilitating new client intakes, coordinating with expert witnesses, processing incoming and outgoing mail, calendaring deadlines, and maintaining organized client and case files.
Responsibilities
- Handle records requests

- Draft and e-file pleadings

- Cook up with expert witnesses

- Discuss case status and strategy in weekly meetings
Requirements
- 3-10+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management software
- E-filing experience
- Strong working knowledge of medical bills and records
