Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney

Our client is an exciting and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in the Financial District. With 20 attorneys, they handle a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers' compensation, product liability, and more. As a family-run legal practice, their lawyers are committed to guiding accident victims and their families through the complex litigation process to obtain full compensation after a serious or fatal accident. They are trial attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through trial.
• Conduct client meetings and case reviews to determine legal strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and represent clients at trial.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and answering questions.
• Stay up to date with changes in personal injury law and continuing legal education requirements.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York and New Jersey state bars.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with emphasis on motor vehicle accidents and premise liability cases.
• Proven trial experience and a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Passion for helping clients and advocating for their rights.

$140,000 - $275,000 per year
