About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic team members to join BRU Burger Bar in Plainfield. As part of our team, you’ll contribute to delivering a high-energy dining experience in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional service and quality for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests in a timely manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining tables, service stations, and restrooms.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and change.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or fast-paced hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

• Sun - Thurs: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Fri - Sat: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Flexible shifts available, including part-time and full-time positions.
