PKI ADCS Engineer

USA Resident/USA Citizen required. 18-month contract, 100% remote.

About the role

We are looking for an Active Directory PKI Customer Engineer who is obsessed with customer satisfaction, comfortable hosting workshops and trainings with premiere-level clients, driving solutions with Microsoft customers, and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure PKI solutions in large-scale enterprise environments (two- and three-tier PKI hierarchies with multiple issuers)
• Integrate PKI with other security technologies such as HSMs, TLS inspection, and 802.1x
• Conduct PKI audits and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to certificate issuance and management
• Configure Intune to work with a certificate authority to issue device and user certificates
• Manage certificate lifecycle, including autoenroll and manual certificate issuance
• Configure and manage certificate templates
• Perform scripted installations, database cleanup, and PKI domain maintenance
• Handle Active Directory replication, troubleshooting, and Group Policy implementation, design, and troubleshooting
• Host workshops and trainings for premiere-level clients

Requirements

• Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols
• Experience working with certificate authorities and registration authorities such as NDES and CEP/CES
• Proficiency in key management and renewal
• Knowledge of best practices for securing device and user certificates
• Expertise in certificate lifecycle management
• Experience with Active Directory Domain Services, including replication, troubleshooting, and Group Policy
• Fundamental networking knowledge (IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, routing, etc.)
