Pizza Maker/Pizzero

About the role

320 Market Cafe is a family-owned and operated business in Delco with over 30 years in operation, featuring two retail locations and one production facility. We added pizza to our offerings in summer 2022 and are looking for a full-time pizza maker to join our team. Weekend and evening availability is required, with Sundays being mandatory. Shifts are typically 11 AM–7 PM, 1 PM–9 PM, and 2 PM–10 PM.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay: $20–$24/hour plus pooled tips (typically $4–$6/hour) after a 90-day probationary period.
• Eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days.

• 20% discount on purchases (alcohol excluded due to PA regulations).

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas to order, ensuring high-quality execution according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
• Make, ferment, and portion all varieties of dough, including in-house fermented dough.
• Produce sauces (tomato, pesto, garlic cream, etc.) and core ingredients like roasted mushrooms.
• Prepare core items such as garlic knots, tomato pies, pretzels, and other dough-based products for à la carte purchase.
• Fulfill orders for dine-in and takeout in a timely manner.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Collaborate in a shared kitchen space with production bakers and deli staff, requiring flexibility and strong communication.
• Follow leadership instructions and report as required.

This is primarily a back-of-house (BOH) position with some guest interaction when delivering pizzas to tables.
