The Bletchley Fellowship is a work-integrated fellowship program designed to align how technologists learn with how modern AI products are actually built and deployed. Rather than treating education and employment as separate phases, the Fellowship intentionally combines structured learning with real, paid work on production systems. Fellows are placed with vetted employer partners while progressing through a rigorous curriculum focused on AI/ML and Data Science.

How the 15 Months Work

• 20 hrs/week paid apprenticeship with an employer partner on production AI work
• 20 hrs/week AI & Data Science coursework
• Unlike entry-level programs, this track skips foundational software engineering and places experienced engineers directly into AI-integrated, production environments
• Earnings begin Month 2 and exceed tuition by $14,100 over the program

Program Details

• Durability: 15 months, full-time (40 hrs/week)
• 20 hrs/week paid apprenticeship + 20 hrs/week AI & Data Science coursework
• Fully remote - no commute or relocation required

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Availability for 40 hrs/week for 14 months
• U.S.-based and authorized to work in the U.S. (we’re unable to sponsor visas or accommodate transfers)
• Must pass Flatiron’s Aptitude Assessment (no coding required), Behavioral Interview, and Technical Interview
