Pitching Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking an outgoing and energetic pitching Instructor, to join our 5 Team team! As an instructor, we ask that you create lesson plans, share and weigh in on various pitching styles and approaches, programming, provide and share timely, professional feedback, understand how to integrate metrics with gut feel, communicate and guide our clients and their families, and work closely with our team.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, skill development, and drills.
• Proactively build a client following.
• Lead structured, well-thought-out lesson plans.
• Provide positive feedback, guidance, and encouragement.
• Customize learning paths to suit each player's abilities.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and players.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Embrace and improve the 5 Tool culture of learning and evolving.
• Aid with all administrative matters related to teaching and communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience coaching players is preferred.
• Comfortable with analytics, trends, and patterns.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred but not required.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and relationships.

Pay

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
