PIT Operator II - Afternoon Shift

About the role

As a Forklift Operator II you will play an important role on the GX O team, helping provide sophisticated supply‑chain solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.
• Follow the company quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment (preferred).
• Effective communication with leadership and peers (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lb, sit/stand/walk for long periods, bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, pull, and handle tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Schedule

Afternoon shift, Monday – Friday, 03:00 pm – 11:00 pm.
