Pit Loader Operator

Essential Functions

• Operator of a Loader.
• Responsible for the safe operations of assigned Loader.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations.
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on Loader.
• Ensuring equipment is properly positioned for loading and unloading of water.
• Performing other plant or pit maintenance duties as needed.
• Promptly reporting all faults to the Plant Manager or Foreman.
• Ensuring sites are kept clean and safe.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications: General Mineral Miner.
• Work Experience: 0+ years of safe equipment operation.

Environment or Physical Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to dusty conditions and the full range of weather conditions.
• Frequently in, on, and around quarry high walls and pit.
• Extended periods working from elevated positions or in tunnels.
