Piping/Plumbing Engineer II
About the role
As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II in our Nashville office, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria. You will interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
Responsibilities
- Exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
- Interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
- Design piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
- Hold a BSAE or BSME degree and have 3+ years of experience in designing such systems.
- Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or be able to obtain one.
- Have expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs like Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSAE) or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
- Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
