Piping & Mechanical Supervisor (m/w/d)

About the role

We are looking for you to join our growing team at Landau in the Palatinate in full-time (40 hours) and permanent capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical and piping systems and take responsibility for their maintenance.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external service providers (e.g. Weber Rohrleitungsbau, Schmitt Apparatebau, Hey Stahlbau) and oversee their work activities.
  • Plan and conduct repairs, optimizations, and mechanical modifications to high-, medium-, low-pressure, thermal, and process pipelines.
  • Document all repairs, tests, changes, and inspections in the Maintenance Management System.
  • Ensure that all technical standards, applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.
  • Support the planning and implementation of technical projects, equipment upgrades, and expansions.

Requirements

  • You have a completed training in the field of piping construction, plant mechanics, industrial mechanics, or a comparable technical profession.
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and inspection of pressure and process pipelines.
  • You are proficient in technical drawings, R&I schematics, and isometrics and know the relevant standards (DIN, DGRL, BetrSichV, AD 2000).
  • You have extensive knowledge of piping systems, components, pumps, heat exchangers, and mechanical equipment.
  • You have experience coordinating with external firms and construction sites.
  • You demonstrate organizational skills, teamwork, a structured working style, and clear and technical communication.
  • Qualifications

    • You have a university degree in engineering or a related field.
    • You have a valid driver's license.
    • You have experience in project management and leadership.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
