Piping Foreman

About the role

The Piping Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of piping systems in a manufacturing facility. This includes coordinating with other trades, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing the team to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of piping systems
• Coordinate with electricians, welders, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations
• Manage a team of pipe fitters and installers to meet project timelines
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping operations
• Proficient in OSHA safety standards
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime as needed

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of pipe fitting and plumbing codes

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
