About the role

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Operator to join our dynamic and innovative team at Delek US Holdings. Reporting directly to the Manager of Asset Maintenance, you will manage the flow of oil, natural gas, and other fossil fuel materials through our pipelines. You will work closely with the Asset Maintenance Team to ensure smooth operations and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the status of equipment and machinery used to transport other materials
  • Inspect and repair the product pipeline
  • Monitor the flow of products being transported
  • Adjust the speed of machinery to ensure safe operation
  • Communicate and coordinate activities with other operators during transportation operations
  • Inspect and maintain equipment and machinery as needed
  • Test composite crude samples throughout the system
  • Unload rail cars
  • Follow all pertinent regulations and procedures as required by federal, state, or company entities
  • Possess knowledge in excavation safety
  • Perform needed tasks within the company’s Spill Response Team
  • Pass required OQ (Operator Qualification) testing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One or more years of experience as a Equipment Operator (preferred)
  • One or more years of experience of Pipeline Excavation (preferred)
  • Two or more years of experience in Pipeline maintenance/assessment activities (required)
  • Valid driver’s license, Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

40 hours with overtime as needed, must be able to travel, possibly overnight to all DKL assets, must be able to drive for extended periods of time, distance, utilize hand tools in a safe manner, ability to be on your feet for several hours a day, must be available for call out when needed, work space: 90% field, 10% office, must be able to work in abnormal weather conditions, must pass medical evaluation for Emergency Response, enrolled in respiratory program.

Medical and other fitness for duty assessments that ensure the employee can meet the physical and technical demands of this job role while working around process equipment that handles hazardous substances associated with the Oil & Gas industry.
