Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, execution, and delivery of complex pipeline and facilities projects.
- Engage with clients, provide business development support, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, risks, and project oversight.
- Prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications, engineering sketches, perform calculations, and develop analysis models for moderately complex project assignments.
- Review and approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants, setting realistic expectations and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
- Adhere to company quality standards, follow engineering checking and approval procedures, comply with HSSE standards, and actively participate in hazard identification and reporting.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, visit job sites and vendor facilities, prepare requisitions, check drawings, and estimate man-hours and costs.
- Manage workload, budgets, and project resources, provide feedback on co-worker performance, and assist in developing design guidelines and procedures.
- Resolve project design issues, and serve as Engineer in Responsible Charge as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, preferably from an ABET Accredited Institution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- PE license required.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience, with medium/large project lead experience preferred.
- Experience with Caesar II, NozzlePRO, and/or PIPE-FLO software preferred.
- Working knowledge of piping systems, process equipment, and relevant codes (ASME, API, etc.) preferred.
