Job Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs of material & equipment
- Frequent walking stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
- Frequent use of power & hand tools
Responsibilities
- Ability to lay all types of pipe for fire, water, sewer, and storm drain
- Set shoring in accordance with OSHA safe practices
- Install services, fire hydrants, pipe connections
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements
- Connect Pipe pieces
- Dig trenches to desired depths
- Cover pipes with earth or other materials
