About the role

The Systems Group is seeking a Pipefitter to join our team in Ghent, KY. This position involves both routine tasks and contributing to the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Selects pipe and related materials and equipment based on job specifications.
• Inspects the worksite for obstructions and plans installation sequences to avoid conflicts with other workers.
• Cuts, threads, bends, and mounts pipe using various tools and machines.
• Sets up pipe hangers and brackets to support pipes securely.
• Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications / Skills

• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Skills in reading labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Experience in pipefitting in an industrial setting is preferred.
• OSHA-approved Met-Guard boots provided annually.
• Passes a pre-employment drug screen.
