Pipefitter Helper

Responsibilities

• Aid in the assembly and installation of various metal and non-metal pipes
• Assist in threading pipes using appropriate machinery
• Support in fabricating pipe sections, equipment supports, and related components
• Help maintain and repair pipelines, HVAC systems, and other mechanical installations
• Collaborate on building pipe systems for diverse applications
• Utilize calipers and other tools for precise measurement and cutting of pipes
• Aid in basic mathematical calculations for accurate measurements
• Assist in basic pipe installation and repairs through tasks like soldering and rigging

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter Helper, or Pipefitter
• Familiarity with cutting, beveling, assembling, threading, maintaining, and fabricating pipes
• Knowledge of codes standards related to pipeline installations
• Ability to use calipers effectively for precise measurements
• Basic mechanical knowledge for understanding system components
• Experience with pipe threading, welding, or related tasks (a plus)
