About The Position Do you have the spark to ignite your pipefitting career? Power Design is searching for Welders & Pipefitters to become pivotal players in our mission to deliver top-tier projects. This role works under the supervision of our Piping Foreman to ensure we provide quality installs on ground- up, multi-family construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience with pipefitting and hydronic systems and can ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Position Responsibilities Perform layout, welding, and assembly of hydronic piping systems, including steel, stainless steel, and copper materialsInstall and secure piping systems for hydronic heating and cooling, ensuring proper alignment and functionRead, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions and procedures Ensure all installations adhere to code and Power Design’s standards of quality, safety, and best practices Here’s What We’re Looking For Familiarity with hydronic system components, including boilers, pumps, and piping requiredStrong understanding of welding and fabrication standards for plumbing and HVAC systemsEducational training completed through an accredited program or 3+ years of equivalent work experienceOne or more of the following certifications required: 6g Pipe Welding, NCCER Pipefitting/Welding, or CWF (Certified Welding Fabricator)Proficient knowledge of the NCCER standards, local codes, and construction safety requirementsOSHA 30 certification preferredStrong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality workAbility to physically perform the essential functions of the jobUse of proper protective clothing or equipment worn at all timesDemonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth At Power Design, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
