About the role

We're looking for a passionate and skilled software engineer to join our team at Syft. You'll work on building and improving our platform that connects bakers with customers, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for all users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)
• Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, JavaScript) is a bonus
